Products Description
25crmo4 equivalent material are 1.7218/4130/SCM430/30CrMo.
25CrMo4 steel can obtain excellent strength and toughness after proper heat treatment. The process of heat treatment includes normalizing, quenching and tempering steps to achieve the required mechanical properties. During normalizing, 25crmo4 material is heated to the right temperature and then cooled in the air to increase the strength of the steel. During the quenching process, 25CrMo4 forged steel bar is cooled rapidly to obtain a higher hardness. The tempering process is to reheat the quenched steel to reduce its brittleness.

25CrMo4 Steel Heat Treatment
The heat treatment of 25CrMo4 steel is crucial for its final performance. By appropriate heat treatment, the hardness and wear resistance of 25CrMo4 material can be significantly improved. Common heat treatment methods include:
- Quenching: Heating steel to a certain temperature and rapidly cooling it to obtain a martensitic structure, thereby improving hardness.
- Tempering: The subsequent tempering treatment can eliminate the internal stress generated by quenching, improve the toughness and plasticity of the steel.
