s45c carbon steel pipe is made by piercing steel ingots or solid billets into a capillary, and then hot rolling, cold rolling, or cold drawing.
The raw material for rolling seamless pipes is round tube billets, which need to be cut and processed into billets with a length of about 1 meter, and then sent to the furnace for heating. The steel billets are sent into the furnace for heating at a temperature of approximately 1200 degrees Celsius. (The temperature control inside the furnace is a crucial issue) After the round tube billet is produced, it needs to pass through the pressure piercing machine for piercing. The most common perforating machine is the conical roller perforating machine, which has high production efficiency, good product quality, large perforation expansion capacity, and can penetrate various steel grades. After perforation, the round tube blank is sequentially subjected to three rolls of oblique rolling, continuous rolling, or extrusion. After squeezing, the pipe needs to be detached and fixed in diameter. The sizing machine rotates the conical drill bit at high speed into the steel billet to drill holes, forming steel pipes. The inner diameter of the steel pipe is determined by the length of the outer diameter of the drill bit of the sizing machine. Once the steel pipe is calibrated, it enters the cooling tower and is cooled by water spray straightened. After straightening, the steel pipe is transported to a metal inspection machine (or water pressure test) for internal inspection. If there are cracks, bubbles, and other issues inside the steel pipe, the pipes will be detected. After the quality inspection of steel pipes, strict manual selection is also required. Then the mark number, specification, production batch number, etc. are sprayed with paint. And all qualified s45c carbon steel pipes are lifted into the warehouse for delivery.
