SUH31 Heat Resistant Valve Steel

SUH31 heat-resistant valve steel is an austenitic series heat-resistant steel with many excellent properties.
Its heat-resistant temperature is as high as 1150 degrees Celsius, which is the highest heat-resistant stainless steel in Japanese standards and is specially used for advanced exhaust valves. It equivalent to China GB standard 4Cr14Ni14W2Mo,EN/DIN X45CrNiW18-9 - 1.4873,UNS S66009 - S 66009.
SUH31 heat-resistant valve steel has excellent high-temperature strength and heat resistance, and can operate stably for a long time under high temperature environment. At the same time, it also has good corrosion resistance, especially good corrosion resistance at high temperature, as well as good processing and welding performance.
In terms of mechanical properties, it has high tensile strength, yield strength, good elongation and cross-sectional shrinkage, and moderate hardness.

SUH31 steel Properties
1. Excellent heat resistance
SUH31 heat-resistant valve steel has extremely high heat resistance and can operate stably for a long time in high temperature environment. Whether in the valve part of the automobile engine or in the high temperature area of the industrial furnace, it can withstand severe thermal stress without deformation or damage. At temperatures up to hundreds of degrees Celsius or even higher, SUH31 steel maintains good mechanical properties to ensure the reliable operation of the equipment.
2. Excellent oxidation resistance
In high temperature environments, oxidation is one of the main challenges facing steel. However, SUH31 valve steel exhibits excellent oxidation resistance due to its special chemical composition and microstructure. It can effectively resist the erosion of oxygen and other oxidizing media in the air, reduce the formation of surface oxide layer, and thus extend the service life of the valve.
3. Good mechanical properties
