316Ti is a titanium stabilized variant of 316 alloy. This molybdenum-containing austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel can improve corrosion resistance, improve the ability to resist pitting chloride solution, and provide higher strength at high temperatures. Its properties are similar to those of alloy 316, except that 316Ti can be used at elevated sensitization temperature due to the addition of titanium.
316Ti improves corrosion resistance, especially to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, formic acid and tartaric acid, acid sulfate and alkaline chloride. Screening application in marine environment, pulp and paper equipment, heat exchanger, propeller shaft, accessories, external building components in marine coastal areas

With Mo added to 316L stainless steel, its corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance and high temperature strength are particularly good, and can be used under harsh conditions; Excellent work hardening (non magnetic). Excellent high temperature strength. 316L stainless steel is austenitic stainless steel and cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. It has good strength, plasticity, toughness, cold formability and good low-temperature performance. The addition of 2% Mo on the basis of Cr18Ni8 gives the steel good resistance to reducing medium and pitting corrosion. It has suitable corrosion resistance in various organic acids, inorganic acids, alkalis, salts and seawater. Its corrosion resistance is far better than 304 in reducing acid medium
