Products Description
S136 Mold steel is ideally suited for plastic moulds, for acid aggressive plastics,PVC or acetates, and can be used with plastics containing abrasive fillers. It also is suitable to produce components for mediacal and optical applications.

Annealing : 810 - 830 °C
Hardness after annealing : Max230 HB
Stress relieving : Approx. 650 °C
Hot forming : 1050 - 850 °C
Hardening: 970 - 990 °C

Hardness after quenching : 30-36 HRC
