Characteristics and Scope of Application:
41Cr4 (1.7035) is the most commonly used alloy structural steel, with higher tensile strength, yield strength, and hardenability than No. 40 steel, but limited weldability and a tendency to form cracks. 41Cr4 is used for important quenched and tempered parts, such as parts working under alternating loads, parts at medium speeds and loads. After surface quenching, it can be used for parts with high load and wear resistance without significant impact, such as gears, sleeves, shafts, crankshafts, and pins.

1045 Carbon Steel Properties
AISI1045 is a commonly used medium carbon steel used in the manufacturing of structural components such as mechanical parts, bearings, and automotive parts. Its chemical composition is carbon 0.43-0.50%, manganese 0.60-0.90%, sulfur up to 0.050%, and phosphorus up to 0.040%. Its mechanical properties include a yield strength of 345 MPa, a tensile strength of 630 MPa, and an elongation of 20%. Its heat treatment state is normalized or normalized+tempered, which can improve its strength and hardness. AISI1045 has good machinability and welding performance, and is a commonly used structural steel.
