About Material 1.2343 (x37crmov5-1)
X37CrMoV5-1 steel has excellent high temperature strength and toughness as well as excellent thermal conductivity and low hot cracking sensitivity.
Material 1.2343 (x37crmov5-1) is a general-purpose hot work tool steel. Used in mandrels, pressure casting molds and extrusion tools; pressure casting molds and extrusion tools for light metal processing, forging dies, mandrels, shrink rings, hot shear blades, etc.
