86CrMoV7 is a German standard alloy tool steel with high hardness and wear resistance, suitable for manufacturing cold work molds, stamping molds, cold rolling rolls, etc.

The chemical composition of 86CrMoV7 includes carbon (C) content between 0.83 and 0.90%, silicon (Si) content between 0.15 and 0.35%, manganese (Mn) content between 0.30 and 0.45%, phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S) content not exceeding 0.030%, chromium (Cr) content between 1.60 and 1.90%, molybdenum (Mo) content between 0.20 and 0.50%, and vanadium (V) content between 0.05 and 0.15%
