GH605 is a cobalt-based superalloy strengthened by 20CR and 15W solution treatment. It has moderate creep and rupture strength
below 815 ° C, oxidation resistance below 1090 ° C, forming and welding properties.
It is suitable for manufacturing hot-end high-temperature components requiring medium strength and high temperature oxidation
resistance, such as engine combustor and guide vanes.

Application Overview and special requirements
It is mainly used in imported machines for manufacturing high-temperature components such as guide vane, Turbine Outer Ring, outer
wall, Vortex, sealing sheet and so on. The alloy is sensitive to silicon content, which can induce the formation of Co2w-type
l-phase when exposed between 760 ° C and 925 ° C, thus decreasing the plasticity of the alloy at room temperature. Therefore, the
silicon content in the alloy should be controlled to less than 0.4% .
