Products Description

Cold work 1.2379 tool steel hardens in air with a low order of movement and offers a measure of corrosion resistance while polished. The high chromium percentage gives it nice corrosion-resisting properties in the hardened condition and low temperature.

1.2379 steel mechanical properties are very sensitive to heat treatment.

1.2379  tool steel is provided in diameter round, flat bar, and square block.
