Molds, knives and other wear-resistant parts made of X63CrMoV5-1 steel have excellent wear resistance and can maintain good surface quality and dimensional accuracy in long-term use. After proper heat treatment, X63CrMoV5-1 steel can reach a very high hardness, usually between HRC58-62.

X63CrMoV5-1 Steel Characteristics
1. The vanadium element added to X63CrMoV5-1 steel refines the grains, making this material have high wear resistance. After proper heat treatment, it can reach a very high hardness, usually HRC58-62.
2. While having high hardness, X63CrMoV5-1 steel also has good toughness. This makes it difficult for molds or tools produced by X63CrMoV5-1 steel to undergo brittle fracture when subjected to impact loads or complex stresses.
