Heat treatment: normalizing 890°C~920°C 1h air cooling; quenching 880°C~900°C 1h oil cooling; tempering 510°C~550°C 2h air cooling

D6AC Steel Delivery Conditions

Without Heat Treatment: HB248～285
After normalizing at 900±10 ℃ +840 ℃~880 ℃ oil quenching +510 ℃~550 ℃ air cooling and tempering, the hardness can reach HRC45~48

D6ac is a special steel grade used to manufacture solid rocket motor casings. It is an ultra-high-strength alloy structural steel. d406a30 is used in steel for SiMnCrMoVE special and specific equipment pressure-resistant shells and large-scale structural parts, as well as ultra-high-strength steel for aerospace solid rocket engines.
