42crmo4 steel is an industrial alloy material. 42crmo4 round bar is used to manufacture forgings that require higher strength and larger quenched and tempered sections than 35CrMo steel, such as large gears for locomotive traction, booster transmission gears, rear axles, heavily loaded connecting rods, and spring clips. 42CrMo4 steel can also be used for oil deep well drill pipe joints and fishing tools below 2000m.

After quenching and tempering heat treatment, 42crmo4 round bar can maintain good impact resistance and low-temperature impact toughness, thereby achieving high fatigue resistance limit. 42crmo4 qt material is suitable for manufacturing large and medium-sized plastic molds, transmission gears, rear axles, load-bearing connecting rods, spring snap springs, and deep drilling pipe joints in oil wells that require certain strength and toughness.
