ASTM A213 ASME SA 213 253MA Pipe S30815 / EN 10216-5 EN 10297-2 1.4835 Stainless Steel Pipe is Rare Earth Metals (REM) and lean austenitic heat resistant alloy with high strength and outstanding oxidation resistance. 253 MA maintains its heat resistant properties by advanced control of micro alloy additions. The use of rare earth metals in combination with silicon gives superior oxidation resistance up to 2000°F. Nitrogen, carbon and a dispersion of rare earth and alkali metal oxides combine to provide creep rupture strength comparable to the nickel base alloys.

253 MA steel has excellent oxidation and creep resistance in cyclic conditions that is best employed in temperatures up to 1150 °C/2100 °F. There is a slight susceptibility to embrittlement during continuous operation at 600–850 °C/1110–1560 °F.
253MA is a heat resistant austenitic stainless steel designed for use requiring high creep strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The temperature range is 850 ~ 1100 ℃.
The chemical composition of 253MA is balanced, which makes the steel have the most suitable inductive function in the temperature range of 850 ℃ - 1100 ℃. It has high oxidation resistance, the temperature of starting oxide skin is as high as 1150 ℃; it has very high creep deformation resistance and creep fracture strength; it has excellent high temperature corrosion resistance and balance brush corrosion resistance in most gas medium; it has high compliance strength at high temperature And tensile strength; excellent formability and weldability, and machinability to meet the requirements.
