Description
1.4462 / 2205 stainless steel is a duplex stainless steel, also known as a duplex alloy. It is composed of approximately 17-19% chromium, approximately 4-6% nickel, approximately 3% molybdenum, and approximately 0.08-0.20% nitrogen.
Applications
Chemical and oil processing industry. Highly resistant to stress corrosion in chlorine surroundings.

Hardening
