15-5PH stainless steel has excellent strength and hardness, making it the preferred material for applications that require high stress and impact loads, such as aviation and automotive components.
In addition to high strength, 15-5PH Stainless Steel Bar also exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, which can resist corrosion in various environments, making it widely used in harsh conditions such as chemical factories and marine environments.
Similar to many stainless steels, 15-5PH Stainless Steel Bar also has magnetism. This characteristic requires extra caution in some magnetic sensitive applications to avoid unnecessary interference.

If used for high temperatures of 700 ℃, 15-5PH Stainless Steel should be competent, as it is both austenitic stainless steel and widely used austenitic heat strength steel. However, it is best not to exceed 750 ℃. Its heat treatment is solid solution treatment, which means heating to 1000 ℃ or above, holding for a certain period of time before water quenching, and then using aging treatment above the operating temperature of 60-100 ℃.
