Production Process

Production process of Inconel625 alloy:
The manufacturing of Inconel 625 sheet requires the use of high-purity raw materials, including elements such as nickel, chromium, iron, cobalt, and some trace elements. These raw materials need to be carefully screened and cleaned before melting to ensure the lowest impurity and gas content. Put the screened and cleaned raw materials into the smelting furnace, heat them to high temperature to melt them into liquid alloys. During the melting process, it is necessary to strictly control the temperature and composition ratio to ensure the uniformity and stability of the alloy.
After completing the smelting, casting or forging processes are required. Casting is the process of pouring a liquid alloy into a mold and cooling it to solidify into a solid alloy of a certain shape; Forging is the process of pouring liquid alloys into a mold to cool and solidify before mechanical processing to obtain the desired shape and size.
Whether using casting or forging processes, the Inconel 625 alloy obtained requires heat treatment to achieve optimal performance. Heat treatment includes two stages: solid solution treatment and aging treatment. Solid solution treatment is the process of heating Inconel 625 alloy to high temperature and holding it for a period of time to fully dissolve the elements in the alloy, followed by rapid cooling to fix the elements in the solid solution; Aging treatment is the process of reheating the alloy after solid solution treatment to a lower temperature and holding it for a period of time, so that the elements are rearranged in the solid solution to form a strengthening phase.
Inconel 625 sheet need to be produced through hot rolling and cold rolling.
