What is the tensile strength of 86crmov7 steel?

86CrMoV7 (1.2327) belongs to the German standard alloy tool steel, and the execution standard is DIN EN ISO 4957-2001
The microstructure and properties of 86CrMoV7 steel during the tempering process after forging and quenching were studied using SEM, TEM, and other methods. The results show that forging and quenching can improve the tempering stability of martensite, reduce the size and distribution of carbides in granular pearlite, and significantly improve the comprehensive mechanical properties.

Basic Introduction of 86CrMoV7 Steel

86CrMoV7 steel, also known as 1.2327 and 20CrMoVTiB4-10 steel, is an alloy structural steel with high strength, high-temperature strength, and high wear resistance. It is mainly composed of elements such as chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, titanium, etc., and has good heat and corrosion resistance, suitable for working in high temperature, high pressure, and corrosive environments. 1.2327 steel is commonly used in the manufacturing of mechanical parts such as cold-rolled work rolls, high-strength bolts, nuts, bearings, and gears, as well as high-temperature and high-pressure industrial fields such as petroleum drilling equipment, aerospace, nuclear reactors, and chemical equipment. Its excellent performance and wide range of applications have made 1.2327 steel an indispensable and important material in modern industry. As a high-strength, high-temperature strength, and high wear resistance alloy structural steel, the stability of the quality and performance of 1.2327 steel is crucial for the safety and reliability of industrial production. Therefore, in the production and use process, it is necessary to strictly follow the relevant standards and specifications for operation and management to ensure that the quality and performance of 1.2327 steel reach the best state.

Metallographic Structure of 86CrMoV7 Cold Rolling Work Roll Electroslag Steel Ingot
Steel grade: 86CrMoV7 cold-rolled work roll electroslag steel ingot
Status: As cast electric slag steel ingot
Organization: Due to the remelting and crystallization solidification of the water-cooled copper crystallizer, the surface of the steel ingot has an extremely thin rapid cooling layer, mainly composed of a large number of columnar crystals, with a small equiaxed crystal area in the center. The angle between the orientation of the dendrite axis and the longitudinal axis of the ingot is between 0 ° and 40 °. As shown in the figure, the as cast structure is dense, and the looseness of the ingot is extremely slight. The fine columnar crystals at the bottom of the ingot are consistent with the ingot axis (see Figure b). There is basically no shrinkage cavity, and the formed shrinkage melt pool after shrinkage is very small, only ø 200mm, with a cone height of 110mm (see Figure a), which improves the yield of electroslag ingots.

86CrMoV7 Properties

86CrMoV7 steel yield strength can reach up to 1200MPa, tensile strength can reach up to 1400MPa, and it also has good toughness and wear resistance. In terms of physical properties, the density of 1.2327 steel is 7.85g/cm ³, The thermal expansion coefficient is 11.7 × 10 ^ -6/K, the thermal conductivity is 43W/(m · K), and the specific heat capacity is 460J/(kg · K). In addition, 1.2327 steel has weak magnetism and belongs to ferromagnetic materials. The chemical composition of 1.2327 steel is mainly composed of elements such as carbon, chromium, molybdenum, cobalt, etc. Among them, the carbon content is 0.28-0.33%, the chromium content is 2.50-3.25%, the molybdenum content is 0.25-0.35%, and the cobalt content is 0.25-0.35%.
