There are two main types of age hardening plastic mold steel: martensitic age hardening steel and precipitation (precipitation) hardening steel. Maraging steel has advantages such as high yield strength ratio, good machinability and welding performance, and simple heat treatment process. Typical high alloy martensitic age hardening steels include 18Ni (200) (00Ni18Co8Mo3TiAl) steel, 18Ni (250) (00Ni18Co8MoTiAl) steel, 18Ni (300) (00Ni18Co9Mo5TiAl) steel, 19Ni (350) (00Ni18Co13Mo4TiAl) steel, etc. After solid solution, ultra-low carbon martensite is formed with a hardness of about 30-32HRC; After aging treatment, due to the detachment and precipitation of various types of intermetallic compounds, aging hardening can be achieved, and the hardness can increase to over 50HRC. This type of steel still has good plasticity, toughness, and high fracture toughness under high strength and toughness conditions.
