Hastelloy C-276 Hardness

Hastelloy C-276 Hastelloy alloy, nickel chromium molybdenum alloy, resistant to high temperature and corrosion.

Overview of Hastelloy C-276 Characteristics and Application Fields:
This alloy exhibits excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidation and reduction states. Excellent resistance to spot corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Alloys are suitable for various chemical process industries containing oxidizing and reducing media. The high content of molybdenum and chromium makes the alloy resistant to chloride ion corrosion, and tungsten further improves its corrosion resistance. Hastelloy C-276 is one of the few materials that can withstand corrosion from moist chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide solutions. This alloy exhibits significant corrosion resistance to high concentrations of chloride solutions, such as iron chloride and copper chloride.
