X13CrNiMo13-4,1.4313, S41500- Specifications and Applications

Stainless steel 1.4313 is a martensitic grade with high corrosion resistance and good durability after good heat treatment. The mechanical properties of X3CrNiMo13-4 steel are due to the high concentration of molybdenum and nickel in the chemical composition. These alloy additives limit the need to increase the carbon content in the grade - a given concentration is equivalent to the austenitic grade of stainless steel. The nickel content is about 4% - although not very high, it significantly improves the resistance of steel to various corrosive environments - secondary mechanical properties. X3CrNiMo13-4 steel enables users to produce parts and components that operate at temperatures up to approximately 300 ℃, as well as components that are exposed to multiple corrosive environments while maintaining sufficient surface conditions - excluding chloride resistance. Type 1.4313 is most commonly delivered after heat improvement - in the form of round bars under QT650, QT780, and QT900 conditions. Semi finished products are used to produce turbine, pump, and compressor components exposed to high and low temperatures in the petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, and energy industries. Steel is not suitable for welding.
