1.2746 steel is a hardened steel. It is a high-quality steel that can achieve high compressive strength. It is suitable for applications requiring additional wear resistance. The steel has good full hardenability, good polishing and excellent toughness.

1.2746 Steel Characteristics:

When grinding, its disadvantage is that its viscosity is relatively large and its temperature rises quickly, but it is easier to grind than any carbon steel and cut materials with a hand saw. The annealing temperature at 440C is very low, and the hardness after quenching is high. The hardness usually reaches HRC56-58, and the corrosion resistance (magnetic) and toughness are good.
