100Cr6 bearing steel has good comprehensive performance: good toughness, good tempering stability, less deformation during heat treatment.The carbide distribution in the steel is uniform, it is not easy to precipitate the carbide network, and it is easy to normalize and eliminate the network and coarse carbide structure.But the compressive strength and wear resistance are insufficient, processing is poor.When the residual carbon content of the steel is 0.6%-0.7% decarburized layer, the surface layer becomes more sensitive to overheating due to the reduction of carbides.
